MY CREATIVE PROCESS

My creative process blends research, storytelling, and technical execution to deliver compelling motion and graphic design. For Nissan/Infiniti’s nationwide Synthetic Oil campaign, I developed a sleek promotional animation by first understanding the product’s key benefits, then crafting dynamic 3D visuals and kinetic typography that aligned with the brand’s luxury aesthetic. The final piece effectively educated dealerships, showcasing my ability to merge strategic messaging with engaging motion design.

 
 
 
 

SITUATION

Nissan/Infiniti needed an engaging promotional animation to educate dealerships nationwide about their Synthetic Oil product, highlighting its benefits in a visually compelling way.

 
 

TASK

As the lead designer, my goal was to create a sleek, informative motion graphics piece that balanced technical details with brand aesthetics, ensuring clarity and retention for dealership staff.

 
 

ACTION

I began with research on synthetic oil’s key selling points, then developed a storyboard blending Infiniti’s luxury branding with dynamic transitions. Using After Effects and Cinema 4D, I animated 3D oil molecules and smooth UI elements, pairing them with kinetic typography to emphasize performance benefits. Collaborated with the marketing team to refine messaging and pacing.

After receiving feedback from the client’s team, I tackled collecting and curating Infiniti-branded video assets and other brand assets.

Then I got to work in compositing and animating footage that I collected for the animation.

 
 
 

Action: Step 4, Featured Product

I wanted to especially showcase the Infiniti Synthetic Oil product that the client was promoting. Using custom-made 3D assets, I animated the Synthetic Oil product in accordance with their recently updated brand guidelines.

After a few rounds of feedback with the client’s various teams, we had a final promotional video ready for national distribution.

 
 
 

RESULT

The final animation was distributed to all Infiniti dealerships nation-wide, boosting product understanding and engagement. The project reinforced my process of merging research, strategic storytelling, and technical execution for impactful motion design.
